Northern Ridge Services, LLC (NRS) is seeking a motivated Junior Safety Professional Intern to join our growing team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health, and risk management projects for government agencies, commercial clients, and industrial facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain real-world field experience while working alongside Certified Safety Professionals (CSPs) and Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs).
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with OSHA safety inspections and facility assessments.
Support industrial hygiene sampling, monitoring, and exposure assessments.
Conduct workplace hazard evaluations and job hazard analyses.
Assist with indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations.
Collect field data and prepare technical documentation.
Assist with report writing and regulatory compliance reviews.
Travel to client facilities as needed.
Participate in safety meetings, training, and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:

Engineering or a related field
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
